Neon Stack is a one-tap stacking game you play straight in the browser. A glowing slab slides back and forth over the top of your tower; tap to drop it. Whatever hangs over the edge gets sliced off and the next block is that much narrower, so the tower gets harder to hit the longer you survive.
Land a block dead centre and it counts as a PERFECT — the block snaps back to full width and your combo multiplier climbs. Stringing PERFECTs together is the whole game: it is the only way to keep the tower wide enough to reach a serious score.
The block moves fastest at the middle of its swing. Commit a hair before it looks lined up — the delay between your tap and the drop is what kills most runs.
A perfect landing restores the block to full width. Two or three sloppy drops in a row shrink the tower to a sliver and the run is over regardless of how tall you are.
The drop shadow under the moving slab lines up with the tower top. It is a cleaner reference than the glowing block itself.
Once PERFECT x3 is on screen you have found the rhythm — keep the same tap timing instead of re-reading the screen every drop.
